Sweden’s Alfa Laval has won an order to supply compact heat exchangers to an offshore platform in the UK.

The Alfa Laval heat exchangers will be used for various duties, such as cooling, heating and condensation, in the processing of heavy crude oil on board the platform.

“This is another large order from the oil and gas offshore sector and this time it includes equipment for a platform located in the UK part of the North Sea. Yet another order that confirms our strong position as a reliable supplier to this industry,” says Lars Renström , President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.

The order is booked in the Energy & Process segment of the Process Technology division. With the previous organization it would have been booked in the Energy & Environment segment.
