Smartsea Technology to Act as EIVA’s Re-seller in China

China has been the destination of quite a number of orders shipped from Danish EIVA the last couple of years. Due to expectations of further growth in demand from this market for EIVA solutions, the company has added a new member to the group of authorised re-sellers in China.

Chinese Smartsea Technology Co., Ltd has become authorised re-seller of EIVA software and hardware solutions for the offshore industry.

Headquartered in Wuxi, which is situated approximately 130 kilometres northwest of Shanghai, Smartsea Technology will contribute to the penetration of the Chinese market, which has already shown great interest in especially the EIVA NaviSuite software and ScanFish range of remotely operated towed vehicles.

“We see great potential in China, and we are confident that the Smartsea Technology team’s vast experience and expertise will contribute to the process of strengthening our position in this market,” said EIVA CEO Jeppe Nielsen .

Two experienced offshore specialists teaming up

Among others, Smartsea Technology specialises in oceanographic, hydrographic and offshore engineering inspection equipment sales and technical service. Its customers include the Chinese Academy of Science, the State Oceanic Administration and the China National Offshore Oil Corporation.

“We are very proud to promote EIVA’s solutions to our clients focusing on hydrographic and offshore surveying applications in the Chinese market,” said Smartsea Technology Managing Director Tony Yao .
