Gardline has added ROV capability to its portfolio of site investigation services, having recently taken delivery of a Saab Seaeye Cougar XT2000 inspection / light work class ROV.

The ROV package includes a dedicated launch/recovery system and can be operated in either TMS or free swimming configuration, and is containerized for rapid mobilization to Gardline vessels to suit project requirements, either standalone or in conjunction with geophysical, geotechnical and environmental surveys in all water-depths.

The Cougar is a powerful vehicle capable of accommodating a variety of payloads and sensors to facilitate targeted seabed inspection, light intervention and survey and is rated to 2000m water-depth.

The system has successfully completed two North Sea projects , and is aimed at both Oil and Gas, and Renewable energy markets such as drilling site surveys, pipeline and cable inspections, and UXO investigation.

Maintained and operated in house, one of the key benefits to our customer base of developing an ROV capability is the integration with its existing services which improves the quality of its deliverables, service reliability and cost efficiency.

Gardline intends to further expand its ROV capability in the future in response to market demands and technology improvements.
