JD Contractor A/S, one of the biggest underwater contractors in Denmark, has been awarded a contract for subsea cable installation.

The contract, awarded through tender procedure, is for the installation of 10 kV submarine cables between Lolland-Asko and Lilleø-Femø.

JD Contractor secured the contract from the cooperative-owned energy company SEAS-NVE Holding.

The value of the contract was not disclosed.
