Norshore Atlantic has successfully completed of its first contract with BlueSky Langsa.

The work has been a combination of ROV inspection and well intervention work on 2 subsea wells on the Langsa Field in Indonesia. The vessel as well as the crew has performed very well and to our client’s satisfaction. The well intervention work has also proven to be very successful for BlueSky and the other partners on the Langsa Field, with a substantial increase in oil production.

The Norshore Atlantic will now start preparations to mobilize for Shell doing top hole drilling on the Malikai Field in Malaysia.

Ilyas Chaudhary , CEO of BlueSky, said: “BlueSky wants to express our satisfaction to Norshore for the corporation and good performance during planning and execution of the well intervention work done on the Langsa oil field. Both the Norshore crew as well as the Norshore Atlantic vessel performed to our satisfaction and BlueSky achived our objectives for these operations. BlueSky found the Atlantic to be very well suited for the operations performed, and we see the vessel as a valuable asset for the industry.”
