Ireland: Bids Invited for Bandon Dredging Scheme

The Office of Public Works (OPW) has invited bidders to submit their offers for the Bandon dredging project. The Office of Public Works (OPW) has invited bidders to submit their offers for the Bandon dredging project.

This development program, named the Bandon Flood Relief Scheme, will involve dredging of the Bandon Town canal for approximately 3.6km and construction of new defense walls.

The Bandon flood protection project will also include construction of new defense embankments, new fish pass structures, new culverts, demolition and replacement of a pedestrian bridge and works to existing drainage scheme.

The deadline for this tender is August 22, 2014.
