Brazilian state-run oil giant Petrobras has decided to keep the ‘Skandi Yare’ platform supply vessel for four more years.

The contract for the PSV built in 2001 begins after the current contract with Petrobras ends in late 2014. Skandi Yare, 67 meters long, is owned by Norskan Offshore, a Brazilian subsidiary of DOF.

The vessel of UT 775 design transports oilfield products and supplies to offshore drilling, as well as production facilities. The vessel can accommodate a crew of 22 persons.
