President Abdel Fatah Al Sisi said on Tuesday that Egyptian national companies that will be assigned with the Suez Canal development project will be working under the direct supervision of the Armed Forces.
Sisi added that national security considerations were kept in mind while undertaking this project.
He added that Egyptians are sensitive over financing the project by foreign banks and investors. This is why the whole finance of the project will be Egyptian, he said.
