1. McDermott Cuts Losses

McDermott International, Inc. has reported a second quarter 2014 net loss of $11 million or $0.05 per fully diluted share, compared to a net loss of $149 million or $0.63 per diluted share in the prior-year quarter.

2. EMAS Lands USD 110 Mln in Contracts

Ezra Holdings Limited, a contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry, today announced that its Subsea Services division, EMAS AMC, has been awarded several projects around the world worth close to US$110 million, including options.

The UK oil and gas industry will have to take steps to be more accommodating to overweight employees, a leading North East law firm has said.
