Sabik, a specialist in sea marking for offshore wind farms, has successfully executed the order for buoyage at the construction site of the DolWin beta converter station.

Together with Boskalis Offshore, the company deployed four buoys within less than 24 hours.

With the completion of the protected area construction of the converter station DolWin beta can proceed smoothly and as planned.

The offshore converter station DolWin beta, realized by the transmission system operator TenneT, ABB and Aibel, is part of the project DolWin2 and is scheduled to connect the three offshore wind farms Nordsee One, Gode Wind I und Gode Wind II to the German national grid in 2015.

Sabik Offshore Wind is located in Schwerin (Germany) and Leatherhead, Surrey (UK).
