Paradigm GeoKey Services, a specialist oil and gas company which provides cased hole services to a range of clients across the globe, has unveiled a new slickline logging system.

Paradigm GeoKey Services, which was established in 2013 by Paradigm Group BV following the multi-million pound acquisition of Geokey Ltd, launched the Slick-E-Line (SEL) coated slickline system, during a series of client open days held in Aberdeen recently.

The system was developed by sister company Paradigm Technology Services and is the result of a four year multi-million pound development program.

Paradigm Geokey Services capabilities include tubing conveyed perforating, memory cased hole logging and pipe recovery. The new deployment and logging technology is a huge step forwards for the company in terms of the breadth of service offering.

CEO of Paradigm Group BV, Fraser Innes , said: “Paradigm GeoKey Services supplies its products and services to a range of well-known and respected oil and gas operators and service companies. The new Slick-E-Line service is the next phase of growth for company. The team at Paradigm Technology Services have created some potentially game changing technology, and we believe it can change the face of the cased hole well intervention and wireline business. The global well intervention market is predicted to grow from $9.97 billion in 2014 to $17.48 billion in 2018. We see this type of new development as key to accessing Paradigm’s share of this huge market.”

Managing director of Paradigm GeoKey Services, Chris Chalker , said: “The open days were an overwhelming success and we have had tremendous feedback along with significant interest from clients across the globe who are keen to use the new technology. We see the technology providing our customers not only with a real opportunity to reduce their well intervention costs but the equipment really lends itself to improving the Health and Safety sphere for the personnel operating the equipment.”
