The last 12 of the total 80 transition pieces (TPs) for the Butendiek offshore wind farm will be delivered this week.
The TP’s, which Bladt Industries has fabricated for EEW and WPD as the end client, have all been fabricated at the company’s Lubmin facilities.
At the end of July, Ballast Nedam Offshore completed the installation of monopiles at the site. The offshore wind farm is located in the German Bight, 32 kilometres west of the German island of Sylt. It will comprise 80 turbines, each with a capacity of 3.6 MW (288 MW in total).
