Cryostar has been selected by AGA GAS AB in Sweden to equip Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Liquefied-Compressed Natural Gas (LCNG) station, located in Örebro, 200km away from Stockholm.

The end of 2013 saw Sweden’s AGA GAS award Cryostar the contract to deliver equipment for its new LNG and LCNG station in Örebro. The equipment forms part of the LNG Blue Corridor project under the European Seventh Framework Programme, which aims to roll out and demonstrate both heavy duty vehicles and LNG/LCNG infrastructure across Europe.

AGA Gas successfully started the Örebro station in March 2014. The site integrates Cryostar’s SUBTRAN submerged pump skid, LNG dispenser, MRP high pressure pump, PLC control system, and its unique liquefied nitrogen cooling system that prevents from any boil off gas release to the atmosphere. Part of the Blue Corridor spanning over 4000 km across Sweden, Germany, France, Spain and Portugal, the station can provide both LNG and CNG.
