Petrobras extends BOS Topazio charter

Norwegian owner of offshore support vessels Farstad Shipping has secured a charter extension in Brazil.

Norwegian owner of offshore support vessels Farstad Shipping has secured a charter extension in Brazil.

Brazil’s state-run oil company Petrobras has awarded a $60.73 million charter contract for the Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessel BOS Topàzio.

The Bos Topàzio, built in 2005 by the Itajai yard in Brazil, will stay with Petrobras for four years. Also, the Brazilian oil giant will have an option to extend the charter for up to four years.

The contract begins this month.
