Jutal loads out two FPSO topside modules made for SBM Offshore

China-based Jutal Offshore Oil Services Limited has reported that in the morning of 9 September, two FPSO topside modules made by Jutal for SBM Offshore were successfully loaded out from the company’s Zhuhai site in China.

China-based Jutal Offshore Oil Services Limited has reported that in the morning of 9 September, two FPSO topside modules made by Jutal for SBM Offshore were successfully loaded out from the company’s Zhuhai site in China.

The FPSO topside modules project was undertaken late last year including two CO2 membrane modules and two VRU modules for Cidade de Maricá and Cidade de Saquarema which are under construction by SBM Offshore for Brazil’s Petrobras. The other two modules are under fabrication and expected to be delivered two months later.

Planned delivery for FPSOs Cidade de Maricà and Cidade de Saquarema is expected respectively by end 2015 and early 2016.

Jutal Offshore Oil Services is an integrated provider offering customers oil and gas equipment and facilities, offshore engineering and technical support services. In the shipbuilding industry, Jutal provides engineering contracting and professional technical services.

The company’s Zhuhai fabrication base features initial turnkey capability for oil and gas processing equipment supply, and fabrication capability of subsea equipment and FPSO topside modules.
