L-3 Marine Systems International (L-3 MSI) will showcase comprehensive state-of-the-art technologies in support of offshore wind farm applications in Hall B6, Booth 562, during the WindEnergy Hamburg exhibition, September 23–26.

“L-3 MSI’s offshore wind market team, consisting of L-3 SAM Electronics, L-3 ELAC Nautik, L-3 FUNA Global Safety Systems and L-3 JOVYATLAS, is looking forward to exhibiting at this key international show,” said Juergen Meyer-Pepel, senior vice president of turnkey solutions for L-3 SAM Electronics . “Collectively, we provide turnkey technical solutions – from design through operations and maintenance – for offshore wind energy farms and associated platforms and are very pleased to support this latest renewable energy effort.”

L-3 will showcase its fully integrated navigation and communications equipment, including IP radars, ECDIS and AIS, and wind and weather information products, as well as marine and aeronautical VHF systems. L-3’s range of solutions also includes complete CCTV networks, marine-tested firefighting and protection systems, door access controls, public address and general alarm technologies, LAN-based control and monitoring systems for transformer platforms, and low-voltage switchboards.

Also available are UPS and battery supplies, resistors, sonar transponders for averting subsea collisions, navigation and general lighting assemblies, type-approved classified sea markings, and design and installation of complete cable networks, as well as other turnkey capabilities.
