A 4,400-ton substation for the EnBW Baltic 2 offshore wind farm has been prepared for transport at the shipyard of Abu Dhabi Mar Kiel.

Since a very good weather for transportation and installation offshore is expected in the next few days, the platform should be moved directly to the construction field. Should the weather worsen, Rostock and Sassnitz are available as alternate ports.

From there, the platform would be on its way to the construction site during the next suitable weather conditions.
