DONG Energy has launched a new multimedia campaign to promote the UK offshore wind and its importance for a sustainable and low-carbon future.
The offshore wind developer invested in the advertisement of the campaign called “Offshore Wind Works”, which has its own website, Twitter page and posters throughout the country. Also, according to the media, the company plans to promote the significance of the UK offshore wind resource in national and local newspapers.
The UK is the global leader in offshore wind, with more capacity in operation than the rest of the world combined. This renewable energy already powers over 2 million UK homes; a figure set to treble by 2020.
