Resolute Marine Energy, Inc. (RME) recently completed the registration of its 100% owned subsidiary in the Republic of South Africa, Resolute Marine SA (Proprietary) Limited (RMESA).

RME COO Olivier Ceberio commented: “We’ve been developing solid business relationships in South Africa for over 5 years and we feel it is now time to show our strong commitment to doing business there.”

“South Africa has a strong wave resource, much of its population lives near the coast and yet many of its coastal areas have limited access to sufficient supplies of water and electricity.” Ceberio continued: “We’ve also learned that South Africa has a skilled workforce and great manufacturing capabilities so we’re confident that this is a market and region where we should be investing a great deal of our time and effort.”
