Cowes Harbour Commission has received an application for a maintenance dredge licence at East Cowes Marina.

The area to be dredged includes the Cowes P and Q basins and extends south to the R and S basins and the T basin.

The final dredge level will be to approximately 2.5m below chart datum (CD). The amount of spoil dredge material to be removed is approximately 12,000 cubic metres.

Dredging work is aimed to be carried out in November of this year; this will form the second phase of the three to four year project to remove 30,000 cubic metres of silt from ECM which commenced in 2013.
