Subsea robotic company, Aleron Subsea, has relocated its head office from Singapore to new headquarters on the outskirts of Westhill.

Aleron Subsea’s recent move places it at the heart of a growing industrial area on the outskirts of Aberdeen, known locally as the Global Subsea Centre of Excellence, where the business will continue to provide effective ROV systems customer service.

The company, which specialises in ROV upgrades and renting work class remote operated vehicles, was established in 2010 by Mike Bisset.

Mike Bisset , managing director of Aleron Subsea, said: “ Aleron Subsea has had an extremely strong time throughout 2014, securing a number of new contracts globally, including a large contract with a client in Indonesia which will continue well into 2015. It will continue to be an exciting year for us, we currently employ 20 staff with plans in place to grow our workforce and asset base to cope with demand from clients.”

“It was essential for us to relocate our headquarters from Singapore to Scotland to ensure that we can cope with demand and be closer to our clients, particularly in Europe and West Africa, whilst still offering a high class service at all times.”
