Hyundai Heavy orders GTT tech for LNG duo

France’s Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) won an order for two large LNGCs from the Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries.

The LNGCs will be owned by the Algerian shipping company Hyproc and are expected to be delivered between 2016 and 2017.

“ The vessels will be built with the innovative Mark III flex membrane technology, which allows an optimized daily boil-off rate of cargo LNG, ” GTT said in a statement.
