ALS Industrial has secured the Inside Battery Limits, Structural Mechanical and Piping, Non Destructive Examination (NDE) services contract with Bechtel on Chevron’s Wheatstone LNG project in Western Australia.

As a result of this contract, valued at an estimated AUD $22 million, ALS Industrial expects to create 20 new jobs in NDE located onsite at Ashburton North. In addition, the contract supports six existing administration, project management and NDE jobs.

ALS Industrial Group General Manager, Kristen Walsh said this contract is a significant achievement for ALS Industrial and the company now has the opportunity to create more employment opportunities for Australian workers.

“ALS Industrial is proud to be working on the Wheatstone Project and to have the opportunity to support Australian jobs. In addition to providing NDE services to Bechtel on the three Curtis Island LNG projects in Queensland, we look forward to successfully and safely completing the Wheatstone Project contract,” said Walsh.
