Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) of South Korea secured a US$409 million (KRW 428.6bn) deal to build two LNG tankers for an unnamed European company.

Daewoo expects to deliver the LNG tankers by August in 2017, one of the world’s leading shipbuilders said in a filling to the stock exchange.

The Korean shipbuilder has this year won multiple LNG orders worth billions of dollars including the recent contract for Eni’s Mozambique floating LNG facility, which it will design with KBR.
