Consilium receives fire and gas detection order for 10 LNGCs

Consilium Korea won fire and gas detection order for ten LNG carriers with an option of additional 6.

Consilium Korea has won fire and gas detection order for ten LNG carriers currently built by Korea’s DSME.

Order is valued at MSEK 12 million excluding the option for further 6 identical LNG carriers.

Carriers with the capacity od 172,000 cbm have been ordered by Teekay, Sovcomflot and Mitsui OSK Lines to transport the chilled gas from Russia’s Yamal project.
