No bids for Scotian Slope

The Canada – Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOPB) has announced the results of Call for Bids NS14-1. According to the CNSOPB, no bids were received.

The Call for Bids featured four parcels which are located in deep water on the eastern Scotian Slope.

The Call for Bids NS14-1 was issued on May 5, 2014. At that time, interested parties were invited to bid on the parcels and the public was invited to submit written comments to the Board. Bidding closed on October 30th, 2014.

The CNSOPB informs that the next Call for Bids (NS15-1) will be issued in April 2015. The CNSOPB will accept nominations for lands to be included in NS15-1 until December 1st, 2014.

The Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board is the independent joint agency of the Governments of Canada and Nova Scotia responsible for the regulation of petroleum activities and resources offshore Nova Scotia.
