The 2014 winter dredging program at East Cowes Marina in the river Medina is in full swing.

Dredging operation are being conducted by the Jenkins Marine with the expected completion date set for November 28th 2014.

So far everything is going according to scheduled. The dredging is being carried by a dredge pontoon called Doreen Dorward with the spoil being deposited into two split hopper barges called Nab and Needles. Licence for the project was issued by the Cowes Harbour Commission on November 4th 2014.
