SeaBird, a provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, has received a letter of intent (LOI) for a 2D seismic survey in the South East Asia region.
SeaBird specializes in high quality operations within the high end of the source vessel and 2D market, as well as in the shallow/deep water 2D/3D and 4D market, with the main focus on proprietary seismic surveys.
This announcement follows the earlier won Letter of Award (LOA) for a 2D seismic survey in West Africa.
The survey, for an undisclosed client, will have an estimated value of USD 12-13 million.
The project is expected to start during January 2015 and will have an estimated duration of 3.5-4 months.
