Tidal Energy Ltd’s DeltaStream turbine is ready for deployment in Ramsey Sound.
The device is currently waiting in Milford Haven, and will be deployed when the weather conditions are suitable. Tidal Energy will install and test a single 400kW unit for twelve months.
The project will be used to demonstrate the capability of DeltaStream as a tidal stream generator and will provide evidence on how the device interacts with the environment around it.
The system has been developed by Tidal Energy Ltd and built and assembled by Mustang Marine.
