In an effort to connect its 288MW wind farm to the grid, the Belgian offshore wind farm developer, Otary, has issued call for tenders.
Otary is looking to award engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract for the 220 kV submarine export cables, onshore connection to the Belgian transmission grid and an Offshore High Voltage Substation.
According to the document issued by the company, the Rentel wind farm capacity will range from 288MW to 550MW and will be located 42 kilometers from the shore.
All interested parties have until the end of the year to submit their offer.
