Monday, December 22, 2014, has been set as a due date for submitting a response to the consultation on Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Electrical System.

However, this extension of the consultation period applies only to online questionnaire responses, as the deadline for the postal and Section 42 responses expired yesterday, November 19, as scheduled, the Skegness Standard news site writes.

This gives an opportunity to local communities to have their say on Triton Knoll electrical system before RWE, the developer, submits its planning application.

“We would like to encourage all those who still wish to respond to the consultation, who wanted to complete the online questionnaire to do so,” the news site quotes Jacob Hain, RWE’s Project Manager for Triton Knoll , as saying.

RWE plans to file a planning application for the electrical system components of the offshore wind farm next year.
