CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. has won bid for the Phase 2 of the Legend Holdings engineering terminal project in Hebei Province, China.

The contract, valued at 370 million yuan and with a construction period of 420 days, is for construction of universal break-bulk cargo berths in Caofeidian area of Tangshan Port.

Located on the west coastline of Caofeidian port area and connected to the completed Phase 1, the project involves 450,000 t break-bulk cargo berths with a designed annual through capacity of 6 million tons, with the designed water depth of the terminal of 13.5 meters.

As a strategic channel for west-east coal transfer and north-south coal transport, after its completion, the project will effectively improve the port’s capacity for energy output, and be of great significance to improving the local investment environment and advancing the balance of strategic resources between regions.
