K2 Management has been awarded with an assignment from DBD Systems to assist with the design, engineering and project development of its floating foundation technology.

K2 Management will provide specific offshore project development advice and create a product and demonstrator development strategy for the intended demonstration project at Dounreay Floating Offshore Wind Deployment Centre (DFOWDC), US Managing Director Carsten Jensen said.

It is an innovative 30MW test and demonstration facility located off the North coast of Scotland.

The site will have the facility to deploy up to 5 floating turbines in water depths of between 77 and 110m, with an average of 85m across the site.

K2 Management supports its clients in their efforts to develop wind projects that achieve the best possible return on investment. K2 Management’s consultancy covers the entire value chain; from the earliest phases of planning and development, to the actual construction and maintenance of wind projects.
