MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has signed a contract with Shell for a Pusnes permanent mooring system. Contract value is around EUR 20 million.
“We are very happy to finalise this large contract,” says Jan Martin Grindheim , Vice President, Offshore Mooring Systems at MacGregor.
“It is strategically important to maintain our market share in the Gulf of Mexico and to maintain our position as a supplier of high-end offshore mooring systems,” notes Grindheim.
MacGregor did not immediately reply to an e-mail seeking more information on Shell’s Gulf of Mexico project.
