The Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) Norway has carried out an audit of emergency preparedness and radio and telecommunications systems at Draupner platforms in the North Sea.
Gassco is the operator of the platforms while Statoil provides technical services. The Draupner S and Draupner E platforms constitute a key node in the gas pipeline system in the North Sea. The platforms stand in 70 metres of water in block 16/11. They stand close together and are linked by a bridge. The Draupner S and Draupner E were installed in 1984 and 1994, respectively.
