A contract for a 14 MW wave energy plant in Ghana has been signed between TC’s Energy of Ghana and Seabased in Uppsala.
The worth of the contract, which needs to be approved by the Swedish agency EKN, exceeds USD 50 million.
The wave power plant is the first step towards the expected goal of reaching 1000 MW.
The contract was signed by Seabased’s Chairman Hans Bern Hoffman and CEO Mats Leijon and TC Energy’s Executive Chairman Anthony Opoku.
