Norwegian seismic player SeaBird Exploration has received a contract extension from TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company for a survey, curently taking place in North America.
The project in progress is being conducted by a 2D long offset/source vessel S/V Osprey Explorer.
The 81 meters long vessel joined SeaBird’s fleet in 2006, after bieing rebuild in Poland.
According to SeaBird, the extended contract is expected to last until late February or early March 2015.
The contract extension is for the additional 45 days, with an estimated value of approximately USD3.2 million.
