Within the EU project MARINET, test series have been initiated at the ECN in Nantes, one of the world’s biggest wave tanks, to test the 1:5-scaled NEMOS device.

Due to precise adjustments and reproduction of wave conditions, extensive hydro-mechanical parameter studies could be made.

The results of more than 200 realised tests will be integrated in the system during the upcoming field tests and the testing of a full-scaled device.

The aim of the NEMOS project is the development of the technology to be ready for the market.
