DOF Subsea has been awarded a Letter of Award (LOA) with an international oil company in the Asia Pacific region.

The LOA is for a 7 + 3 year IRM contract and the vessel Skandi Hawk is planned to be utilized under the contract.

Skandi Hawk is of STX PSV 09 design, modified to be a ROV/Construction Support Vessel. Designed to support the development phase of an oil field, the Skandi Hawk can work as a CSV for construction, inspection and subsea survey.

According to DOF, the LOA work scope includes project management and engineering, ROV and diving services.

As part of a contract award, the vessel Skandi Hawk will be sold from DOF Rederi AS to DOF Subsea Rederi AS.
