Baker Hughes Incorporated has posted today an international rig count report for December 2014 on its Investor Relations website according to which the international offshore rig count is down by three rigs from last month’s count.
The international rig count for December 2014 was 1,313, down 11 from the 1,324 counted in November 2014, and down 22 from the 1,335 counted in December 2013.
The international offshore rig count for December 2014 was 338, down 3 from the 341 counted in November 2014, and up 32 from the 306 counted in December 2013.
The average U.S. rig count for December 2014 was 1,882, down 43 from the 1,925 counted in November 2014, and up 111 from the 1,771 counted in December 2013. The average Canadian rig count for December 2014 was 375, down 46 from the 421 counted in November 2014, and up 3 from the 372 counted in December 2013.
The worldwide rig count for December 2014 was 3,570, down 100 from the 3,670 counted in November 2014, and up 92 from the 3,478 counted in December 2013.
