Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co., Oak Brook, Illinois, has been awarded a $23.4 million firm-fixed-price contract with options for Fire Island Inlet to Montauk Point, Fire Island Emergency Stabilization, Robert Moses State Park to Lonelyville Reach, with an estimated completion date of April 15, 2015.
Bids were solicited via the Internet with two received.
Fiscal 2015 other procurement funds in the amount of $23.4 million are being obligated at the time of the award.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York, is the contracting activity.
