DRAGFLOW has delivered a specifically designed machine to one of the contractors in the oil and gas industry, in order to remove sand from seabed and allow the oil pipes’ maintenance.

DRAGFLOW attached, by a steel structure, 2 Hydraulic Pumps, HY85, to a shell, that was designed and created, to cover the pipe (diameter is approximately 1 meter). The pumps, symmetrical and reversible, are a special version of the classic HY85, specifically modified for increasing the performance.

Every pump is assembled with 2 Hydraulic Excavators (EXHY20).

This hydraulic system has been delivered to be used in the projects in Caspian sea, Kazakhstan.

The system will be put on the pipes, on seabed, for sand extraction. Once the maintenance is over, the system will put the sand back, to cover the pipes.

DRAGFLOW designed equipment that can be used as an optimal method for this challenge.

Full equipment included 2 HY85/180HC and 4 Hydraulic Excavators.
