Litgas of Lithuania, part of Lietuvos Energija energy company group, said it will start supplying natural gas to Estonia from February 1.

“After LNG terminal in Klaipėda has started its operations, we acquired new options to import natural gas from various sources and offer them to customers in other countries for competitive prices. Furthermore Lithuania gained momentum to become a regional hub for natural gas trading,” stated Dominykas Tučkus, general manager of Litgas .

Litgas expects supplying up to 30 million cubic meters of natural gas this year. The company has signed contract with Reola Gaas from Alexela Group, and is in talks with other potential customers in Estonia, the company informed in a statement.
