Tidal Energy Ltd, Welsh tidal developer company, has completed the fabrication and assembly of DeltaStream tidal energy device and it’s waiting for stable weather conditions to deploy it into Ramsey Sound.
According to Tidal Energy Ltd, the 400 kW DeltaStream device is fully commissioned, grid connected and on the quayside at Pembroke Dock awaiting deployment.
Due to the harsh and unstable weather conditions at the end of last year, the company was unable to install the device into Ramsey Sound.
Tidal Energy issued a statement saying: “We anticipate that in the coming months, with the right weather pattern and better neap cycles, we will be in a position to deploy.”
