Komatsu Europe International N.V. has introduced the PC240LC- 11 hydraulic excavator to the European market.

This new excavator further leverages Komatsu’s leadership in technology and innovation with a more environmentally friendly EU Stage IV Komatsu engine, up to 6% improved fuel efficiency, an upgraded cab design, and enhanced serviceability.

Built on a solid foundation initiated in 1996 with the introduction of the first Komatsu Tier 1 engine, Komatsu’s EU Stage IV engines are productive, dependable and efficient. The PC240LC-11 maintains the powerful lifting performance and stability of previous Komatsu models, with a net 141 kW (189 HP) @ 2.000 rpm and operating weights between 24.700 kg and 26.200 kg.

The PC240LC-11 is equipped with the latest KOMTRAX™ remote monitoring technology with data access via the web or via KOMTRAX™ Mobile on your smart phone.

All major components on the new PC240LC-11 including the engine, hydraulic pumps, motors, and valves are exclusively designed and produced by Komatsu.
