Suez Canal Authority revealed that the transit toll discount for LNG carriers will be reduced in 2015.
Mohab Mamish, the Suez Canal Authority chairman told at a conference that the 2015 discount for LNG carriers has been reduced to 25% from 35% in 2015, reports Reuters.
Mamish told that canal revenues rose 6.8% in 2014, compared to the year before, reaching $5.45 billion. Total tonnage passing through the canal in 2014 reached 962.7 million tons.
