CCCC Shanghai Dredging Co. recently won two projects in the Lianyungang Port with a total contract value of approximately $24 million.
The company secured deals related to the Phase 1 of the port’s channel maintenance and dredging project (Lot H2.6) and the second contract is for EPC project for Phase 1 of the Xuwei zone in Lianyungang Port (Lot SJ-SG-5).
According to a press release, the channel maintenance project in the Xuwei zone of Lianyungang Port, worth approx $23 million, includes construction period of 4 months for the removal of some 12.88 million cubic meters of soil.
Located in the Xuwei zone (Phase 1) of Lianyungang Port, with a contract value of $1 million and a construction period of 11 months, the EPC project involves soft foundation treatment of the reclaimed area.
The two projects will speed up the construction of Lianyungang Port into a large coastal deepwater port and promote the economic development of Lianyungang.
