Dredging, Environmental and Marine Engineering NV (DEME), an international group of specialized companies in the field of capital and maintenance dredging, land reclamation, port infrastructure development and etc, has just released a video about the Waterdunen coastal protection project.

Waterdunen is one of the eight weak links of the Dutch coast.

Under this development program, DEME is fortifying the existing seawall over a length of 2 km and creating an inland artificial sand dune of 15 ha.
