Sepro Technology Norway, a subsidiary of SH Group Denmark, has been awarded a contract by Drammen Yard for two 10Te Vertical Tensioners.

The 2 Electrical Tensioner is designed as standalone equipment handling offshore power cables and includes following features: Built-in speed and tension mode, PLC controlled pinch force on cable, Load cell Feedback to PLC, Electric drive train, Hydraulic fail-safe brake and Logging of operational data.

According to the company, the equipment is scheduled for delivery in 12 Weeks.
