Eidesvik Receives Viking Neptun

Eidesvik Offshore has today taken delivery of the Offshore Construction Vessel Viking Neptun from Kleven Verft AS.

According to the company, TBN Viking Neptun represents the largest investment Eidesvik has done in the subsea segment.

Eidesvik has taken a long-term loan of MUSD 124 with Nordea and Eksportkreditt Norway/GIEK to finance the vessel.

The vessel is scheduled to start its contract with Technip in March. Eidesvik Offshore and Reach Subsea have in partnership entered into a firm contract with Technip in Norway in November last year.

As previously announced in November, the Eidesvik Offshore’s newbuild TBN Viking Neptun, will be equipped with Reach ROVs and manned by Eidesvik marine personnel and Reach ROV personnel and engineers.

The ICE 1B-class vessel has a length of 145 meters and a beam of 31 meters. It is equipped with 2 offshore cranes on 400T and 100T respectively and a Carousel with a capacity of 4400T flexible pipes.
